A really good Open Stake with a very high standard of dogwork. Tough and challenging grounds - in a mix of mainly bracken and brambles woodland. Dry and kind weather from start to finish. Good scenting conditions. Many thanks to the judges and all who helped, Steward Of The Beat, Paul Neil guided us all safely through the dense wood and presented strong and well flying game and was a most friendly host. Really enjoyed being part of it and shooting at this trial in very good company.
